Our Mission
San Sebastian is a non-profit foundation that helps families with children suffering from severe illness which requires specialized treatments.
The foundation raises funds to allow families to cover medical costs or to pay for living expenses when they are unable to work.
We also provide free legal and accounting support to these families through the firms that support us.
Donating
Normally, crowd funding initiatives charge a percentage for donations received, delivering recipients a little less than donated. When a donation is made through San Sebastian, we do not charge any fees.
The donations we receive are tax deductible since we are accepted by the Federal Government as a foundation under statute 501 (c) (3) of the tax code. Given this, we issue donation certificates.
Both the operations of this website and the foundation run from the managers' pocket, as well as any bank charges involving the contributions.
